Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: Most maintenance services and general repairs can be performed any weekday that is convenient to you.  If you suspect your vehicle has a more serious problem, please call our office about scheduling.

Q: Can I have my car fixed in one day?
A: We offer same day service in most cases.  If your repair requires more than one day, it will be made clear before work is started, when ever possible.

Q: Do you guaranty your work?
A: Our parts and labor warranty is 12 months / 12,000 miles.

Q: Can you do manufacturer warranty repairs?
A: We work with most Extended Warranty companies, however; manufacturer warranty repairs must be performed at the dealership.  Click here for a list of Extended Warranty companies we have worked with on behalf of our customers.

Q: Do you give free estimates?
A: Estimates are free, but there is a fee for diagnosis.  For example; an estimate to replace your starter is free.  To determine if you need a starter is not.

Q: My 'Check Engine' light is on.  Will you check it for free?
A: There is no charge to determine if your 'Check Engine' light (MIL) requires diagnosis (i.e. if your fuel cap is loose, there is no charge to tighten it and reset the engine diagnostic).  Electronic Computer Diagnostics start at $91.00.

Q: Can you do the manufacturer scheduled maintenance?
A: Yes, we offer a service interval maintenance inspection for $91.00.  Once this is performed, you will be notified of which manufacturer recommended services are needed and which are not.

Q: When I drop off my car, can you drive me to work?
A: Yes, we offer local shuttle service.  If needed, Enterprise car rental will pick you up here.  When the work is completed, you can leave the rental car here, saving a trip to rental office.

Q: My car runs fine.  How often should I bring it in for maintenance?
A: We recommend three months or 3000 miles for oil change and multi-point inspection.  Also, service interval maintenance inspection (Manufacturer Scheduled Service check) should be performed at least every 30,000 (30K) miles.

Q: What kind of cars do you work on?
A: We perform maintenance services and general repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.  This includes foreign & domestic, light trucks, SUV's and RV's - from classic to new.  We also provide complete drivability and computer diagnostics for most vehicles.  The exceptions being such vehicles that need proprietary manufacturer equipment for servicing; such as some Chrysler products and some German imports.
